VBI Microbial database(VMD) is adapted from GUS(Genome Unified Schema). Currently the database is hosted on Oracle 11G, having more than 500 tables, views and objects. We have extensively modified the schema to suit our needs. VMD has genomes of 3 oomycetes pathogens.

  • Phytophthora sojae
  • Phytophthora ramorum
  • Hyaloperonospora arabidopsidis

For Phytophthora sojae, we have 2 assembly versions available e.g; version 1.0 and version 4.0. The gene calls from version 1.0 are mapped with version 4.0. In addition, we have incorporated transcriptomic data into the database.

For H. arabidopsidis, we have 3 assembly versions e.g; V 3.0, V6.0 and V8.3.2 with their separate gene calls and annotations available.
